The Day of the Dead is a celebration to make years by years from the time of the Aztecs in Mexico, this costume is to remind family members who died, placing an altar where you place different foods and drinks they liked when they were living, like candy, food, drinks, etc.
Also the custom is to visit the cemetery, with family in front the grave of their family died, where they play the music and food too, other people bring the flowers and other people clean the graves of their family died.
There are commemory day to the children died and another day for died adult.
Selling candy skulls, chocolate or sugar, when the children are outside on the streets to beg for their calaverita, all It is also part of the custom.
The altars are of great meaning since with them is believed to help the dead to bring a good way for death.
Bread of the Dead is another customs that is make in this days, and it is traditional to share with the family drink with a chocolate or atole, as well as death figures in mache paper or like famous alebrigues.
It is traditional altars see contests in differents parts of Mexico country, with its colors and adornments like ciudad universitaria, Mixqui town, and the Mexican provinces.
In conclutions this tradition is a ritual to remember and venerate the family dead.
